EUROPEAN YOUTH DEBATE
Being ESAN’s annual flagship event, the European Youth Debate (EYD) is designed as a
debate and policy forum hosted by the student association European Generation under the
patronage of the Information Office of the European Parliament in Milan. The event spans
over three days and aims to bring together students passionate about European affairs to
discuss and develop concrete suggestions for the Union’s further development in four
areas:

-
EU-Citizenship
-
Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship
-
Globalization and International Trade
-
Sustainability
Through intensive discussions in thematic working groups, our aim is to voice a collective
idea of the European Union, to present detailed proposals to European decision-makers
and the public as well as to connect with students from different nationalities and
backgrounds to better understand the Europe we live in. We believe that our active
engagement in today’s politics is essential for our future.
